The Bastian Sweater & Tee

 
The Bastian is a classic raglan sweater with contrast sleeve insets that offer opportunity for customisation, colour blocking, and scrap-busting. It has a relaxed, loose fit and comes in both short and long-sleeve options. This comfortable basic is easy to sew and to wear, making it a speedy and satisfying sewing project.
 
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
 
Style A:  Medium-weight sweatshirt fabrics such as cotton sweatshirt fleece or french terry. 
                  We recommend sweatshirt fabrics with 15% or more stretch. Ribbing can be used for the    
                   cuffs and/or *neckband if desired.
Style B:  Light to medium weight cotton Lycra knit fabric with 20% or more stretch. 
 
NOTIONS & SUPPLIES:
 
Ball point/stretch sewing machine needle (in a size suited to your fabric’s weight)•\

 Optional: Stretch twin needle
